Basilica
of Bom Jesus: Located at Old Goa, 10 kilometres east of Panaji,
the Bom Jesus Basilica is a World Heritage Monument.

Se
Cathedral: One of the most ancient and celebrated religious
buildings of Goa, this magnificent 16th century monument to the Roman
Catholic rule in Goa under the Portuguese is the largest church in Asia.

Church
of St. Francis of Assissi: To the west of the Se Cathedral is
the former palace of the Archbishop that connects the Se Cathedral to the
Convent and Church of St. Francis of Assisi.

St.
Cajetan Church: The large and beautiful Church of St. Cajetan,
lies about half a kilometer away to the north east of the Se Cathedral, and
quite near the ruins of the Viceregal Palace.

Church
of Our Lady of Rosary: Not far to the west of the Basilica of
the Bom Jesus is the Holy Hill at the extremity of which is the Church of
Our Lady of the Rosary.

Nunnery
of Santa Monica: Built like a fortress, is significant for its
massive walls and buttresses. It is the only nunnery in Goa.

Ruins
of Church of St. Augustine: One of the most spectacular of all
monuments in Goa, reproduced on innumerable travel brochures and
advertisments is the St Augustine tower in Old Goa.

Viceroy's
Arch: It was renovated by Portuguese and was the gateway to Goa
for Portuguese Governors.

Reis
Magos Church: It is one of only three places in Goa, where the
unique Feast of the Three Wise Men is held.

The
Church of de Dens at Saligao (Bardez): 13 kms from Panaji.
Built in 1873, is situated amidst picturesque surroundings.

The
Church of St. Alex at Curtorim: 9 kms from Margao. It is one of
the oldest churches in Goa, built in 1597.

The
Church of St. Anne at Talaulim. Ilhas: Of all the churches in
Goa, the most ostentious and notable for its excellent architeture is that
of St Anne.

Rachol
Seminary: Situated just off the banks of Zuari river, 12
kilometres from Margao in South Goa.
